"These landscapes are too pretty just to be looked at. I need to show the rest of the world". Some thoughts along those lines went through my head when I moved to the Isle of Skye in 2011. So, inspired (and overwhelmed) by the natural beauty on the Isle of Skye, I turned full time photographer in 2012. Every time the location has presented a new set of colours, flora, fauna and challenges (I'm sure that river wasn't 7 meters deep last time???). Even when the whole island is covered in cloud (common occurrence), sometimes it just lifts, and presents the most stunning vistas, engaged by the sun, sea or stars. This is why photography is continually exciting and uplifting.
