Wasted Journey or New Adventure?

So, I went up the probably most magnificent peak on Skye (Sgurr nan Gillean), in the hope of snowy and intermittent mist conditions. Along with a sunset, this would be the perfect conditions. It didn't quite work out. There was some snow, I certainly felt it while waiting around for the picture opportunity. The mist didn't quite work out, it was just a big layer of cloud. The sunset did turn up, but was nearly overpowered by the cloud. Picture wise, it was a bit disappointing, after the effort of lugging all the stuff up, and it got very cold standing on the same location for two hours, waiting for the conditions to improve. However, as I descended in darkness, I was glad of the adventure aspect of the day. First snow on the Cuillin, I had to be there! Fire and Ice
